Now Hiring - Transportation Sales Account Executive in Walnut, CA

Sales Account Executive Central Mission: Increase revenue by acquiring new business from a nationwide territory. Key responsibilities:

• Ability to interact and build relationships, make customer calls and close new business opportunities
• Schedule sales calls both independently and with management team
• Work with management and Operations Team to qualify potential new accounts, and pipeline development
• Manage the set up process for new accounts including assisting in obtaining needed documents for credit approval
• Establish and maintain carrier relationships to ensure success in meeting customer's shipping needs
• Send daily call reports to Management
• Shift responsibilities between operational and sales demands
• Be able to think strategically around customer problems to deliver value proposition(s)
• Maintain a growing portfolio of accounts by working with operations team to develop business continuity strategy and excellent customer engagement
• Have strong negotiation skills in pricing and contract agreements
• Ability to quote customers accurately and in detail
• Electronically track and maintain leads and contacts
• Display a strong ability to multi-task

Only applicants with transportation sales experience will be considered.

Experience:

• account management: 2 years (Preferred)
• Sales: 2 years (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
